About Me

I am often asked what brought me to Florida? Well who wouldn't want to work in the sun-shine every day, doing what I enjoy most, with good friends I have met over the last 6 years I've been here.

Yes it's 6 years since I opened P's & Q's. We didn't get off to a good start!, as 2004 was the year Charlie (friday 13th Aug) and his two friends Francis & Jean came through Haines City ( Hurricane's remember ). Between the 3 of them they closed me for the remainder of that year. All of you who have been coming into P's & Q's since we opened, will also know about the consruction/landscaping Haines City did the following year!.

Well we are still here and still enjoying it. It was so intresting learning the long-arm, and I shall allways be gratefull to Deborah Buress for all her help and advice. We moved in August 2010 to our new bigger brighter store on 7th street, And if you havn't been in to see us yet you should come and see what your missing. We have a larger choice of fabrics,/notions/ books and patterns.

I have 2 members of staff, who have become very good friends. Ann Records who has been with me from day one, ( and lets me think I'm the boss). And Lynn Hunt who's taken so much of my shoulders, and keeps me organized, (if thats at all possible. You can ask them anything and I know they will be able to help you.
